Karen was cruely taken from us at a time nobody expected. karen was a grandmother, a wife, a mother,
a sister, a daughter, a aunt, a cousin, a best friend and a vital part of the community. karen was
such a funny and easy going person and meant the world to everybody she knew. i knew karen for 6 and
ahalf years and as soon as i begun to know her i knew she was somebody special..karen was sooo
special she was a mum to me. karen would go to the end of the earth and back to help anybody who was
in need. Karen being taken from us has broken the hearts of SO many people and i know for a fact she
will never be forgotten.. we wont ever forget the crazy random things she used to come out with,
that laugh that you could hear from a mmile off.. the crazy curly hair she had a full head of and
most of the that massive heart of gold!! karen will sorely be missed and wont ever be forgotten.

Beautiful Karen, with a big smile & loud laugh & the inability to keep still if music was playing!!Thats how I'll remember you.I cant help but smile whenever I think of you,tho I quickly remember that you're no longer with us,that I wont ever see that smile,or hear that laugh again.

i hope you were there karen i really do.. Elizabeth done you proud.. her tribute was soo true and she held herself together so well.. we are all really proud of her.
the flowers were amazing werent they.. ive never seen so many!!
well im not too sure what else to say to you, ill come and visit your resting place all the time i promise.. ill always make sure you have beautiful flowers down there.. but with the amount of people who will be coming to see you im sure that wont be a problem.

Memories Of Karen
Many years ago when I was just a spring chicken, Karen and I had both our first children together, Katrina and Philip,
Life at that time was very strained, I was a lonely wife, and Karen a very young mum with a love in her life called Janek.
Karen not knowing if she could keep her precious daughter because she had her so young, had a pain in her heart but the sun shone and she had her wish and her bonny baby was kept and loved.
Karen and I lived together with our babies and had so much fun in learning together of the joys of Mother Hood.
That is when Karen started her market life helping our dear Mum.
selling Good as new clothes, to venture eventually to her passion of cards
My husband returned and Karen then married Janek had moved to her Beloved speilplatz little bungalow which was her pride and joy.
Karen and I had a steady loving sisterly relationship with our children in tow as now she had had Zena.
I had now divorced and Married John and had David, Janek and John worked together cleaning Cars and Karen and I got roped into cleaning the interiors.
We laughed and joked all the time wondering what we would find under the seats!
Janek and Karen brought an apartment in Spain where all of the family friends and children had so many holidays with them ………. (Happy times and memories)
There are so many occasions where Karen and I carried out so many pranks together and had so many laughs yet to write them all down would take me a month of Sundays ! !
Life was great for Karen she had lots of friends and two wonderful children then out of the blue came a thunderbolt
Straight to her heart, Zena had been knocked down and killed by a car,
Life was unbearable; her marriage strained, then Janek departed, broken hearted again,
Yet through all this grief she managed to cope with friends and her family there by her side.
I remember the times each week when Karen and I would meet for lunch and secrets we told and there my treasures to hold.

Then out of the Blue came a knight in shining amour to carry her through and realise there was love,
Her Darling Dave came along.
Her marriage with Dave was private and strong,
Never however getting over Zena Death.
For the last seven years at Christmas time Myself and my three sisters would Have our Special time together, This year we all went to Moor mill Karen gave us all presents and the strange thing about this year was she gave us all a beautiful photo frame each, and now she has departed we all treasure it with love, with a picture of us all so we can remember that time with so much love,
The highlight of my special time with Karen and Dave was two years ago when John and I spent a whole month laughing and joking with them as we travelled through Australia. Karen snorkelled the barrier reef, SKY dived over Witsunday Islands, a holiday she loved and I will always treasure those days forever,

Karen, this is my second attempt at sending a message, I hope you read my first one that never made it to the website. Karen I loved being around you from a young child, teenager and in early adult years. It's hard to believe that you have passed on and being as I am in another country when Liz called and told me I was shocked and it seemed so unreal. But it finally sank in and when I read the wonderful messages on this website the tears keep coming. My thoughts are with your family, Katrina, David, Mrs. Eames, Elizabeth, Juliet, Sonja, Howard, Adrien and all of your family and friends. Give Zena a big hug from me.
